About Us

Mission Statement

On April 21, 2014, we suddenly lost our two precious children, Reagan Elizabeth Cohen and Jaxson Stephen Cohen. In the wake of the tragedy, we wanted to honor them and find a way to continue to let their lights shine.

With this purpose in mind, we started the Reagan and Jax Cohen Memorial Fund. Its mission is to seek out and support the organizations that best improve the lives of children, by making an impact on their health, welfare and/or general well being. All of the generous donations to our fund are used to accomplish this goal. Reagan and Jax were vibrant, loving and engaging children. We know that they would be proud to bring smiles to the faces of others. Reagan and Jax's lights continue to shine through your contributions.

Our family is blessed by and thankful for your continued love and support.

Alex's Lemonade Stand

Alexandra "Alex" Scott was a brave little girl who purposed to raise money via a lemonade stand when she was just four years old. she was the recipient of a stem cell transplant in order to aid her fight against neuroblastoma and she wanted the doctors to be able to help other children just like her.

At eight years of age, Alex passed away knowing that she had helped raise over $1 million dollars to fight childhood cancer. Like Reagan and Jax, she loved the colors blue and purple and liked to play soccer. Alex's Lemonade Stand allows Alex's spirit to live on and hopefully will lead to many more sunny days for children like her in the future.

Early LIFE

The Early LIFE program utilizes a network of teachers to provide quality early learning and childcare opportunities to low-income families that nurture a child's social, emotional and educational needs, while partnering with parents to build a strong foundation for families.

Early care and education is essential to a child's success. Classrooms utilize music, art and technology to help children begin on a positive path toward kindergarten.
